Market and sell private equity funds, including open-ended and closed-end vehicles, to institutional and private investors. Identify and initiate new sales opportunities by prospecting and presenting to new and existing clients. Research prospective investors and create detailed metrics to assess viability of investors. Work with the Equity Capital Markets team and legal counsel to prepare and coordinate the execution of non-disclosure agreements, due-diligence questionnaires (DDQ), and other legal and transactional documentation. Ensure client coverage by utilizing the support of subject matter specialists. Provide investment updates and analyses by working with the Investment Management teams to detail investment styles and processes, portfolio strategies, and recent performance. Respond to inquiries from senior management and business partners. Support the Equity Capital Markets team with investment and performance analyses. Work with the Equity Capital Markets team to develop product support materials and sales ideas. Provide content in the development of presentations, profiles, questions and answers, DDQs, and marketing materials. Ensure consistent presentation of investment stories for assigned products. Review investment strategies to ensure that investment and pricing characteristics are competitive in the marketplace. Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management via Salesforce. Develop, enhance, and prepare marketing materials, including monthly tearsheets and marketing decks. Work with marketing materials, including Private Placement Memorandums, Investor Presentation, and Due Diligence Questionnaires; identification and sourcing of limited partner and general partner relationships; and marketing software, including Salesforce, Preqin, and Real Capital Analytics.

SALARY:                                  $161,346/year

Requirements for our Equity Capital Markets Associate include:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field of study
  • Two (2) years of experience with marketing materials, including Private Placement Memorandums, Investor Presentation, and Due Diligence Questionnaires
  • Identification and sourcing of limited partner and general partner relationships
  • Knowledge of marketing software, including Salesforce, Preqin, and Real Capital Analytics
  • Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination (Series 63)
  • General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7)
