We believe we offer an outstanding opportunity through our Summer Analyst Program for rising real estate professionals to learn and prosper in a dynamic environment. Madison selects candidates from the top undergraduate programs and offers summer analyst positions for a period of 10-12 weeks.
Leadership, discipline and relationship building are at the core of Madison’s Summer Analyst Program, as it is designed to attract, develop and train professionals who share our passion for instituting meaningful change and powerful financial results for the firm. As a Summer Analyst, candidates receive firsthand experience working as an integral member of the team in our key lines of business – Investments and Asset Management. The objective is to develop well rounded technical and analytical skills, as well as work alongside a team of professionals that add value to our organization and make it possible for our business lines to capitalize on new opportunities.
As part of our Summer Analyst Program, candidates will support business functions through reporting and analyzing data, determining profitability and return on investment, making recommendations and presenting to managers as well as assisting in financial operations. Over the 10-12 weeks, candidates will work closely with experienced professionals in a diverse work environment and have the chance to make real contributions to our business results.
Responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and analyzing investment opportunities
- Working collaboratively with senior management and investment team to develop investment underwriting and conduct due diligence
- Analyzing financial information and data and developing the risk/return profile
- Completing additional projects as required
- Reviewing and inspect target assets and markets
- Willingness and ability to travel, comfortable to work in office and remote environment
Qualified candidate must have:
- Strong academic credentials from a top undergraduate business program, preferably with a major in finance, economics, real estate
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Familiarity and experience with word processing, research, databases, PowerPoint design and other computer applications
- Strong interest in real estate, finance and investment management, as demonstrated through internships, work experience, and classroom work
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team setting
Salary: $30 per hour
