November 23, 2021 – Madison volunteers gathered at Chelsea Piers once again to help pack Thanksgiving boxes along with hundreds of other local volunteers. During the four-hour event, over 8,500 Thanksgiving dinners were packed. Each box was packed with a full-size turkey and all the usual Thanksgiving fixings. Madison volunteers packed over 360 of those boxes. With the help of FeedingNYC and the many volunteers who came out to do their part, thousands of New York families were able to celebrate Thanksgiving at the table with their loved ones.
FeedingNYC was founded in 2001 in the wake of 9/11, with just 12 volunteers. Today the organization has grown to 7,000 volunteers and Madison International is proud to be among those helping to make a difference!
