Madison International Realty’s Frankfurt Office Illuminates in Orange to Bring Awareness to Gender-Based Violence
25 November marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, initiated by UN Women, also known as the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. This year’s theme was “Orange the World: Fund, Respond, Prevent, Collect!”. Like in previous years, this day marks the launch of 16 days of activism that concludes on 10 December 2020, which is International Human Rights Day. Madison’s Frankfurt office joined many landmark buildings throughout the world in illuminating the office orange to set a clear sign against Gender-Based Violence. This issue is especially important this year with COVID-19 increasing violence against women and girls, in particular domestic violence.
