On June 14th, Madison International Realty (Madison) hosted 11 students from Children of Promise, NYC for a mentoring workshop on business dining etiquette. For many of the students, this was their first opportunity to visit an office and they were eager to learn everything Madison had to teach. While dining, the mentors taught how to prep for business dinners, the do’s and don’ts while dining, and how to network during the meal. When the workshop wrapped up, the students wanted to learn more about the private equity world and were excited to learn of the properties Madison was involved in, especially Atlantic Terminal at the Barclays Center since this asset is in their backyard.
With this mentoring event being a huge success, Madison is currently planning the next workshop with the hopes of putting what the students learned from the last one, into action in the next one.
