Overview
Madison makes a concerted effort to be an active member of each community it is a part of. This starts with Madison’s employees, and extends to Madison’s partners across the business, including investors, sponsors, consultants and vendors. Madison’s social impact program aims to support each stakeholder group through the development of impactful and long-term partnerships.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Madison prioritizes the professional development of its employees through several initiatives like the comprehensive new hire onboarding program, analyst training program, annual 360 reviews, cross-department trainings and ad hoc knowledge sharing, education reimbursement stipend, annual compliance and cybersecurity training, mentorship program, sponsorship to industry organizations, among others.
Health and Wellness
Madison works to create a culture of health and wellness amongst employees through providing comprehensive benefits, education opportunities, and events. Madison’s benefits address physical, emotional, and financial well-being. As workplaces continue to evolve Madison strives to remain responsive and flexible to evolving employee needs and preferences.
Employee Resource Groups
Employee Resource Groups are voluntary, employee-led communities dedicated to promoting connections among employees who share some interests. Madison identified the opportunity to further support the groups described below by providing a space to promote their professional goals in the industry while engaging employees in a discussion about relevant real estate topics.
- WOMEN OF MADISON: is a group dedicated to the professional advancement of women in the workplace. The group is led by a group of senior female leaders, who work to identify networking and educational opportunities for women at the firm. This has taken the form of speaker series, internal workshops, and external trainings.
- MADISON FUTURE GENERATION: is an organization within Madison International Realty focused on the ideas, priorities and ingenuity of the Millennial and Gen Z generations. The purpose of this organization is to hold semi-annual meetings and ad hoc community events to gather and discuss topical subjects pertaining to Madison as a firm and culture standard-bearer.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Madison’s community engagement program is founded on establishing long-term partnerships with local community-based organizations to support its Social Impact Pillars, through three key initiatives: monthly Company Volunteer Opportunities, Corporate Non-Profit Partnerships, and providing an Employee Volunteer Day.
Social Impact Pillars
Company Volunteering
Corporate Non-Profit Partnerships
Madison partners with organizations such as SEO, Project Destined, and YWCA on a corporate level to provide enrichment events, education/training workshops, and internship opportunities.
Madison International Realty and Project Destined announced they have partnered to mentor underserved students for future careers in the real estate industry. The goal of the program is to prepare the next generation of commercial real estate leaders.
Employee Volunteer Day
Madison supports employees volunteering with organizations of their own choosing in addition to our corporate volunteer partners. To encourage employees to spend time outside of company volunteer events supporting the local community, Madison provides each employee with a “Volunteer Day” that can be used anytime throughout the year in place of a workday.
