Max Sauermann serves as Managing Director, Head of EU Investments & Co-CIO and is based in Madison’s Frankfurt office. In this role, he is responsible for leading Madison’s European investment strategy, originating and executing transactions, and overseeing portfolio management across the region. Prior to joining Madison in 2021, Mr. Sauermann worked as Vice President at Round Hill Capital and at Corestate Capital. Mr. Sauermann is a fluent German speaker and received his Master’s degree in Finance from EBS Universitaet fuer Wirtschaft und Recht.
