Founded in 2002, Madison is a global leader in the acquisition of partial ownership interests in high quality real estate properties and portfolios. Madison utilizes its direct secondary strategy to acquire limited partnership, closed end fund, public and private REITs, joint venture, and structured equity interests in class A properties and portfolios in the U.S, U.K., and Western Europe. Madison has assets under management of approximately $7.0B and is currently deploying capital on behalf of multiple private equity vehicles. We are looking to hire an analyst, primarily focused on project management and investor relations initiatives within our Equity Capital Markets team (ECM). Madison’s ECM team focuses on capital raising initiatives across a global set of institutional investors, including public/private pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, amongst others.  This individual will be a critical part of the ECM team and participate in all aspects of the client relations/servicing process with existing and prospective investors.

Responsibilities for our Investor Relations Analyst include:

  • Preparing track record analysis, consultant questionnaires/databases and related due diligence questionnaires such as RFPs/DDQs
  • Ensuring consistent and up-to-date presentation of MIR corporate identity through business descriptions, detailed PowerPoint presentations and similar private placement memoranda and other communications on various vehicles.
  • Coordinate production of investor presentation and analysis for investor road shows and bespoke meetings
  • Conducting market and competitor research (keeping up to date with investment vehicles, strategy and performance)
  • Managing and tracking communications with existing and prospective investors, as well as maintaining and updating of Salesforce CRM.
  • Working with the finance/accounting and portfolio & asset management team to understand and communicate performance and strategy

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced  professional with:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the real estate private equity sector, ideally with some experience in fundraising initiatives
  • Strong academic credentials from a top undergraduate business program, preferably with a major in finance, economics, real estate
  • Intermediate to advanced excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity and experience with research databases
  • Highly motivated self-starter who works well independently and, in a team, setting under pressure. Focus on attention to detail and collaborative communication style.

Salary Range:

$100,000-$110,000
